Practical development for leaders at every stage.

Equipping Leaders

Equip. Empower. Lead with Confidence.

Stepping into leadership is both exciting and demanding. The Equipping Leaders course is designed to help new and newly appointed leaders find their footing quickly, build confidence, and lead teams effectively from day one. Through practical frameworks, interactive sessions, and real-world application, participants will gain the clarity and confidence to lead with purpose and influence – not just authority.

As experienced coaches we know the transformational leverage that coaching has on individuals. Our approach for this course is through a thematic coaching model. Research shows that coaching workshops built around clear themes help people grow personally, strengthen their relationships, and develop as leaders. These thematic models provide a consistent structure that takes into account the complexity of team dynamics, rather than focusing only on individuals, which makes them especially effective for delivery of this content.

Through a rich, context-driven experience, participants will develop essential leadership capabilities: communicating with clarity, navigating conflict and difficult conversations, managing self and others, shaping culture and values, protecting wellbeing, and building high-trust, high-performing teams.

This programme empowers emerging leaders to create environments where people can thrive – nurturing talent, inspiring commitment, and strengthening retention across their teams.

Elevating Leaders

The next step after Equipping Leaders.

Elevating Leaders helps leaders move from understanding the foundations of leadership to applying them with greater confidence, intention and impact. It is for leaders who want to think beyond today’s demands, improve team performance and develop the people around them.

Drawing on Kouzes and Posner’s The Leadership Challenge, the programme brings to life the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership: modelling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act and encouraging the heart. Participants apply these practices to the real decisions, conversations and challenges they face at work.

A deeper dive into Gallup CliftonStrengths helps leaders understand what they naturally bring, where they may need to adapt and how to recognise and release the talents of others. Strengths awareness gives teams a shared language for valuing difference, navigating tension and working together more effectively. Gallup’s research highlights that knowing and applying strengths has a greater influence on team performance than simply having a particular mix of strengths within a team.

Leaders also explore the four core needs followers look for in leadership: trust, hope, stability and compassion. They learn to create clarity and confidence, communicate a meaningful direction, build trustworthy relationships and lead people with genuine care.

Trust Hope Stability Compassion

Trust – Honesty, integrity and respect were other words people frequently used to describe what leaders contribute to their lives. Leaders build trust by speaking the truth and explaining how decisions are made.

Compassion – Caring, friendship, happiness and love were other words people frequently used to describe what leaders contribute to their lives. Leaders show compassion by acknowledging the negative emotional impact of situations and decisions.

Stability – Stability, security, certainty, predictability, strength, support and peace were other words people frequently used to describe what leaders contribute to their lives. Leaders provide stability when they calmly absorb emotional reactions to situations and decisions.

Hope – Direction, faith and guidance were other words people frequently used to describe what leaders contribute to their lives. Hope is the result of having ideas and energy to achieve future goals.

Across six themed sessions, participants strengthen the practical skills to think strategically, make sound decisions, give feedback, navigate performance conversations, build trust, delegate well and develop others. In the concluding session, they share a ‘best leadership’ project that puts their learning into practice, then commit to ongoing coaching in triads to sustain their growth.
